There are many online retailers offering Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities, but few stand firmly behind their products. As a direct importer, we take pride in the quality of our cabinets and back them with a Five-Year Limited Warranty.
RTA Cabinet Store provides a limited warranty to the original consumer purchaser for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase. If any product fails due to defects in materials or workmanship under normal use within this five-year period, RTA Cabinet Store will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective part.
This warranty does not cover products that have been misused, abused, mishandled, improperly installed or stored, altered, or exposed to extreme temperature or moisture.
This warranty is void if the product is used for purposes other than those for which it was originally intended. It also does not cover costs related to installation, removal, transportation, or damage incurred during these processes, regardless of whether the work was performed by a contractor, service company, or the purchaser.
Variations in color and grain pattern are natural characteristics of wood. Over time, exposure to light and environmental factors may cause color changes—these are part of the normal aging process and are not covered under this warranty.
For maximum safety and weight capacity, we strongly recommend mounting at least part of the wood-mounting frame into a wall stud. If a stud isn't available, high-quality toggle bolts can be used for light decorative items, but they will not support the same weight as a stud-mounted installation. Ideal application, is when you screw through our maple-frame mounting system directly into a stud(s)
Yes! Every shelf comes with a professional-grade, wooden-hidden frame system and the necessary screws for standard wood-stud installation. (If you are mounting on brick or concrete, you may need specific masonry anchors/screws).
You can use a stud finder or the "knock test" (listening for a solid sound vs. a hollow one). In most modern homes, studs are spaced 16 inches apart. The best way: utilize a stud-finder to ensure the best possible “mount” and application to the wall
When properly installed into wall studs, our hardwood shelves can typically support 45 lbs
No. Because we use solid hardwood and a solid maple mounting frame that will be secured directly to a wall, our shelves are designed & will remain perfectly level. Sagging usually only occurs with cheaper MDF or hollow-core shelves, that have exceeded their applicable weight rating(s)
The outside trim & rails are solid hardware (Maple species) with real maple veneer over MDF to help with expansion & contraction of the natural material. Hardwood, showing the natural grain on all sides of our stained shelves & smooth, factory finish for our painted shelves. The shelf is almost entirely made of solid wood.
Simply wipe with a soft, dry microfiber cloth for regular dusting. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth with a drop of mild dish soap, then dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals or furniture polishes that can dull the protective finish.
Absolutely. Our shelves are finished with a moisture-resistant sealant, making them perfect for kitchen racks or bathroom towel storage. Just ensure they aren't in direct, constant contact with water.
